Polyflex and polyflex flame retardant expandable monofilament sleevings are produced by braiding specially formulated p.e.t (polyethylene terephthalate) monofilaments into a cylindrical sleeve. Polyflex is a tough and lightweight sleeving that demonstrates excellent chemical and fungus resistance while providing good mechanical properties. the open weave construction allows each size to expand to three times its original diameter. this expansion combined with extreme flexibility makes polyflex sleeving easy to apply over irregular shapes. Polyflex is also available in tight weave and heavy duty constructions for those special applications.
