These materials offer outstanding heat and cold resistances. Continuous service temperature ranges from -100¢XC to +260¢XC, and the melting point is 327¢XC. Fluoroplastics have the lowest coefficient to friction among all solid matter giving them excellent auto-lubrication properties.

Fluoroplastics have the lowest dielectric constant and dissipation factors of all solid materials. They are stable in a wide range of frequencies and external environments, making them ideal as high frequency insulation materials.
