1. OUTLINE
NITOFLON NO.973UL is one face adhesive tape produced by coating silicone
Adhesive on one face of NITOFLON Glass Cloth (No.970) made of high quality
Glass cloth impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersion and sintered.
It has excellent heat resistance and high mechanical strength. It is
UL-listed flame retardant tape. (File No.E 34833)
NITOFLON No.973UL TACK is a wider width version of 973UL having a paper
Liner so that it can be cut smoothly to composite shapes by punching,
trimming, stamping, etc.

3. FEATURES
1) The non-adhesive face has excellent characteristics of polytetra-
Fluoroethylene e.g. excellent electrical properties, high resistance to
heat, weathering, chemicals and water (water repellency), nontackiness,
etc.
2) High mechanical strength.

4. USES
1) Covering of pressure rollers of hat sealer for packaging foodstuff,
rice bags, chemicals,etc.
2) For heat sealing of plastic films.
3) Surface covering of sizing rolls for dyeing and plastic processing.
4) Covering of the roll of coater for tacky or adhesive materials
5) Covering of friction areas of chutes,hoppers,guide rails.
6) Covering requiring non-tackiness and plain and smooth surfaces.
7) Lining of the tank of applicator.
8) Insulating spacer, covering for insulation of wire connections, other
insulation coverings.

7. PRECAUTION
1) Remove dirt and dust, oil and grease, moisture and water from the surface
Where the tape is applied.
2) It is recommended to store the tape in a cool and dark place and not to
store the tape for a long term.
